Prophet Muhammed (pbuh+f) is the Last Prophet

Imam Al-Mehdi (as) is the Last Messenger

 

 

 

The Claim

All praise to Allah, we now have a proof (100% truth) from the Quran that not every Messenger (Rasool) is a Prophet (Nabi). This however does not mean the opposite is true although we have some evidence for that but still there is the possibility that these two roles are independent of each other, not generalization-specialization roles.

 

Messengers are sent to confirm what was had been brought before them by previous Prophets who agreed to become special Messengers and receive (knowledge of the) Book and Wisdom in return for supporting a last Messenger that comes after them.

 

3:81    وَإِذْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ لَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَٰبٍۢ وَحِكْمَةٍۢ ثُمَّ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مُّصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِۦ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥ ۚ قَالَ ءَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِى ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَٱشْهَدُوا۟ وَأَنَا۠ مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ

3:81 When Allah made (His) covenant with the Prophets, (He said): Behold that which I have given you of the Book and Wisdom. And afterward there will come unto you a Messenger, confirming that which ye possess. Ye shall believe in him and ye shall help him. He said: Do ye agree, and will ye take up My burden (which I lay upon you) in this (matter)? They answered: We agree. He said: Then bear ye witness. I will be a witness with you.

 

This finding means that our Prophet (pbuh+f) is the last Prophet but not the last Messenger as claimed by most Muslim scholars.

 

In Quran 33:40, Allah (swt) clearly says that our Prophet is a Messenger of Allah and the last Prophet (not last both):

 

33:40    مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَآ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن رَّسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًۭا

33:40 Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is ever Aware of all things.

 

In order to make the last Prophet also the last Messenger, scholars made up the false claim that a person cannot become a Messenger unless he is a Prophet too. This claim has been systematically proven wrong using the Quran and thus the 12 Khalifa (who all from Quraish according to our Prophet) as Messengers from Allah Almighty and the last Messenger is The Khalifa of our time, Imam Al-Mehdi (may Allah bring forward his re-appearance).

 

Language Structure

Independent Roles

In English, "Doctor Engineer" means an engineer who became a doctor, whereas “Engineer Doctor” means a doctor who became an engineer. Both are valid sayings but they have different meanings. In Arabic adjectives come after their nouns and therefore “مهندس طبيب” means an engineer who became a doctor, whereas “مهندس طبيب” means a doctor who became an engineer. Both are valid sayings but they have different meanings.

 

Generalization-Specialization Roles

In English, adjectives come before the nouns they describe.

"Surgeon Doctor" means a doctor who is surgeon, whereas in Arabic, adjectives come after their nouns so "طبيب جراح" is a surgeon doctor while "جراح طبيب" is “doctor surgeon” which is nonsensical.

 

The Proof

There are only four possible combinations of these two roles as follows:

 

  1. Nabi and Rasool are unrelated

  2. Every Nabi is Rasool

  3. Every Rasool is Nabi

  4. Rasool and Nabi are the same

Nabi and Rasool in the Quran

Allah Almighty always uses " رَسُول نَّبِيّ" (Rasool Nabi) and never " نَّبِيّ رَسُول " (Nabi Rasool). Here are the verses that shows both Rasool and Nabi next to each other”

 

7:157       ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلرَّسُولَ ٱلنَّبِىَّ ٱلْأُمِّىَّ ٱلَّذِى يَجِدُونَهُۥ مَكْتُوبًا عِندَهُمْ فِى ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَٱلْإِنجِيلِ يَأْمُرُهُم بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَىٰهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْخَبَٰٓئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَهُمْ وَٱلْأَغْلَٰلَ ٱلَّتِى كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلنُّورَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ مَعَهُۥٓ ۙ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

7:157 Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul; and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters that they used to wear. Then those who believe in him, and honour him, and help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him: they are the successful.

 

19:51       وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مُوسَىٰٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخْلَصًۭا وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا

19:51 And make mention in the Scripture of Moses. Lo! he was chosen, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet.

 

19:54       وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا

19:54 And make mention in the Scripture of Ishmael. Lo! he was a keeper of his promise, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet.

 

The Arabic expression " رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا" (Rasool Nabi) can only mean one of two things:

 

  1. Nabi and Rasool are unrelated roles.

or

  1. Every Nabi is Rasool i.e. Nabi is a special Rasool because the noun Rasool (general) comes first and then followed by its adjective Nabi (special) just like a surgeon doctor "طبيب جراح".

 

it cannot means

 

  1. Every Rasool is Nabi i.e. Rasool is a special Nabi.

or

  1. Rasool and Nabi are the same

because a Messenger (Rasool) is not a special case of Prophet (Nabi) just like a doctor is not a special case of surgeon in "طبيب جراح".

"جراح طبيب" or a doctor is a special case of surgeon is nonsensical.

 

As for the 4th possibility that the two roles are the same, this is excluded as they are different words and have different roots.

Messenger (Rasool) comes from root (رسل) meaning “sent with a message” old or new is irrelevant, whereas Prophet (Nabi) comes from root (نبو) meaning “sent with a new message” = news.

 

As for the claim that a Nabi is someone who is born as a Nabi and once he is sent to His people, he becomes a Rasool. That means the majority of the 124000 or 144000 “Nabi”s are simply sent to themselves and their immediate families and only 313 “Rasool”s are sent to spread the Message of Allah (swt). Here a clear verse which suggest this is false:

 

2:213       كَانَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فِيمَا ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا ٱخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ فَهَدَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَا ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

2:213 Mankind were one community, and Allah sent (unto them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and revealed therewith the Book with the truth that it might judge between mankind concerning that wherein they differed. And only those unto whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it, after clear proofs had come unto them, through hatred one of another. And Allah by His Will guided those who believe unto the truth of that concerning which they differed. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path.

 

Independent Roles

Finally, the 1st possibility that the two roles are independent of each other can still be true as Allah Almighty used an OR between them in Quran 22:52 which may mean they are independent roles if the OR is an exclusive OR (XOR) but that is still unclear from the verse context.

 

22:52       وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍۢ وَلَا نَبِىٍّ إِلَّآ إِذَا تَمَنَّىٰٓ أَلْقَى ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ فِىٓ أُمْنِيَّتِهِۦ فَيَنسَخُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يُلْقِى ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ ثُمَّ يُحْكِمُ ٱللَّهُ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ

22:52 And We did not send before you any messenger nor any prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

 

In any case, the two roles still cannot be used to mean a Prophet (Nabi) is a Messenger (Rasool). However it may also have been used like that to assert that not only a Rasool but not EVEN a Nabi (who is entrusted with new message due to higher purity) can still be vulnerable to the interference of the Satan (LA) during their Message delivery and thus both are addressed directly. Thus the correct translation would become:

 

22:52 And We did not send before you any messenger; not EVEN any prophet; except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

 

This makes only the 2nd possibility valid. The 1st possibility cannot be dismissed yet but even if it were true, it still does NOT validate the claim that our Prophet is the last Messenger because Allah Almighty only said that he is the last Prophet and there is not a single proof from Quran that he is the last Messenger.

 

Indeed, throughout the Quran, Allah Almighty orders us to obey His Messengers (“Rasool”s) not His Prophets (“Nabi”s) because they are already included in as Messengers. See Appendix A below.

 

Conclusion

Allah Almighty specifically said in Quran 33:40 that our Prophet is the Messenger and the last Prophet:

 

33:40    مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَآ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن رَّسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًۭا

33:40 Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is ever Aware of all things.

 

Neither Allah Almighty nor the Prophet himself (pbuh+f) authorized the Islamic scholars to claim that a Messenger cannot become a Messenger unless he is already a Prophet. When did this started and was it done intentionally, we shall soon learn in sha Allah when the Imam of our time with rise and cleanse Islam from ALL false beliefs that keeps non-Muslims away.

 

Allah Almighty in Quran 3:81 clarifies that the role of the last Messenger (Rasool) is to confirm the Message of all Prophets (Nabi) before him, whereas the role of a Prophet (Nabi) is more demanding and requires that they receive a Book and Wisdom from Him in order to confirm all previous Messages and deliver new Message too:

 

3:81    وَإِذْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ لَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَٰبٍۢ وَحِكْمَةٍۢ ثُمَّ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مُّصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِۦ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥ ۚ قَالَ ءَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِى ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَٱشْهَدُوا۟ وَأَنَا۠ مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ

3:81 When Allah made (His) covenant with the Prophets, (He said): Behold that which I have given you of the Book and Wisdom. This responsibility was assigned to all Prophets including our Prophet (pbuh+f) and the other four great Prophets as per Quran 33:7

 

33:7    وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِيثَٰقَهُمْ وَمِنكَ وَمِن نُّوحٍۢ وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَى ٱبْنِ مَرْيَمَ ۖ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَٰقًا غَلِيظًۭا

33:7 And when We exacted a covenant from the prophets, and from thee (O Muhammad) and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus son of Mary. We took from them a solemn covenant.

 

How will then the Prophets (peace be upon them all) support a Messenger that comes after all of them unless they come back to Earth! The dead Prophets (Solomon, Ya3qoob, etc.) will not come back but the martyred ones are still alive and will indeed come back to support him very soon in sha Allah.

 

2:154    وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتٌۢ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌۭ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ

2:154 And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not.

 

The Last Messenger

If our Prophet (pbuh+f) is not the last Messenger and he himself is to come back along with all martyred Prophets to support the final Messenger, then who is this Messenger?

 

The answer can only be Imam Al-Mehdi (as) since we know he is the Awaited One to come and restore peace and justice to Earth after it is filled with transgression and injustice.

 

What is Next?

In summary, there are 124000 (most likely 144000) Messengers out of which there are 313 chosen to be Prophets. Some got killed delivering the Message of Allah while some died. Those who were killed in the way of Allah will in sha Allah come back to fulfill their promise in 3:81 while the dead ones will be replaced by other martyrs or current living men and women to complete the number back to 313. These 313 companions of Imam Al-Mehdi (as) may include 263 males and 50 females including the companions of the cave who are asleep in their bed (مرقد) the Mosque built above them.

 

Ask Allah Almighty to bring forward the re-appearance of your saviour by Allah’s permission Who is the real Saviour by reciting Quran 27:62 for the Imam of your time, not for personal gains:

 

27:62       أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَءِلَٰهٌۭ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

027:062 Is He who answers the call of the distressed [person] when he invokes Him and removes his distress, and makes you successors on the earth...? What! Is there a god besides Allah? Little is the admonition that you take.

 

Final Advice

The Quran is for all times, and its meaning is clarified more and more generation after generation. Don’t get stuck in culture and forefathers. Ask Allah sincerely for guidance (ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ) and He will guide you to His straight (not just right) path.

 

Remember that Allah knows all and control everything in real-time. This life is an open-book exam and The Quran is that book so READ IT and do not ignore it for easy to understand substitutes like speeches or interpretations that are limited to human intellectual capacity and their current scientific understanding.

 

25:30       وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًۭا

25:30 And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned."

 

47:24       أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ

47:24 Will they then not meditate on the Qur'an, or are there locks on the hearts?

Here are some verses where Allah orders us to obey His “Rasool”s as a general term which includes His “Nabi”s:

 

٣_٣٢     قل اطيعوا الله والرسول فان تولوا فان الله لا يحب الكفرين

٣_١٣٢   واطيعوا الله والرسول لعلكم ترحمون

٤_٥٩       يايها الذين ءامنوا اطيعوا الله واطيعوا الرسول واولي الامر منكم فان تنزعتم في شيء فردوه الي الله والرسول ان كنتم تومنون بالله واليوم الاخر ذلك خير واحسن تاويلا

٥_٩٢       واطيعوا الله واطيعوا الرسول واحذروا فان توليتم فاعلموا انما علي رسولنا البلغ المبين

٨_١     بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم يسلونك عن الانفال قل الانفال لله والرسول فاتقوا الله واصلحوا ذات بينكم واطيعوا الله ورسوله ان كنتم مومنين

٨_٢٠        يايها الذين ءامنوا اطيعوا الله ورسوله ولا تولوا عنه وانتم تسمعون

٨_٤٦      واطيعوا الله ورسوله ولا تنزعوا فتفشلوا وتذهب ريحكم واصبروا ان الله مع الصبرين

٢٤_٥٤   قل اطيعوا الله واطيعوا الرسول فان تولوا فانما عليه ما حمل وعليكم ما حملتم وان تطيعوه تهتدوا وما علي الرسول الا البلغ المبين

٢٤_٥٦   واقيموا الصلوه وءاتوا الزكوه واطيعوا الرسول لعلكم ترحمون

٤٧_٣٣       يايها الذين ءامنوا اطيعوا الله واطيعوا الرسول ولا تبطلوا اعملكم

٥٨_١٣   ءاشفقتم ان تقدموا بين يدي نجويكم صدقت فاذ لم تفعلوا وتاب الله عليكم فاقيموا الصلوه وءاتوا الزكوه واطيعوا الله ورسوله والله خبير بما تعملون

٦٤_١٢     واطيعوا الله واطيعوا الرسول فان توليتم فانما علي رسولنا البلغ المبين

 

3:32 Say: Obey Allah and the messenger. But if they turn away, lo! Allah loveth not the disbelievers (in His guidance).

3:132 And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy.

4:59 O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger and those of you who are in authority; and if ye have a dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah and the messenger if ye are (in truth) believers in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more seemly in the end.

5:92 Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and beware! But if ye turn away, then know that the duty of Our messenger is only plain conveyance (of the message).

8:1 They ask thee (O Muhammad) of the spoils of war. Say: The spoils of war belong to Allah and the messenger, so keep your duty to Allah, and adjust the matter of your difference, and obey Allah and His messenger, if ye are (true) believers.

8:20 O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).

8:46 And obey Allah and His messenger, and dispute not one with another lest ye falter and your strength depart from you; but be steadfast! Lo! Allah is with the steadfast.

24:54 Say: Obey Allah and obey the messenger. But if ye turn away, then (it is) for him (to do) only that wherewith he hath been charged, and for you (to do) only that wherewith ye have been charged. If ye obey him, ye will go aright. But the messenger hath no other charge than to convey (the message) plainly.

24:56 Establish worship and pay the poor-due and obey the messenger, that haply ye may find mercy.

47:33 O ye who believe! Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and render not your actions vain.

58:13 Fear ye to offer alms before your conference? Then, when ye do it not and Allah hath forgiven you, establish worship and pay the poor-due and obey Allah and His messenger. And Allah is Aware of what ye do.

64:12 Obey Allah and obey His messenger; but if ye turn away, then the duty of Our messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly.

 

 

Appendix B

Here Allah orders us to believe in His “Rasool”s again as a general term which includes His “Nabi”s:

٢_٩٨      من كان عدوا لله ومليكته ورسله وجبريل وميكيل فان الله عدو للكفرين

٢_٢٨٥         ءامن الرسول بما انزل اليه من ربه والمومنون كل ءامن بالله ومليكته وكتبه ورسله لا نفرق بين احد من رسله وقالوا سمعنا واطعنا غفرانك ربنا واليك المصير

٣_١٧٩   ما كان الله ليذر المومنين علي ما انتم عليه حتي يميز الخبيث من الطيب وما كان الله ليطلعكم علي الغيب ولكن الله يجتبي من رسله من يشاء فامنوا بالله ورسله وان تومنوا وتتقوا فلكم اجر عظيم

٤_١٣٦    يايها الذين ءامنوا ءامنوا بالله ورسوله والكتب الذي نزل علي رسوله والكتب الذي انزل من قبل ومن يكفر بالله ومليكته وكتبه ورسله واليوم الاخر فقد ضل ضللا بعيدا

٤_١٥٠       ان الذين يكفرون بالله ورسله ويريدون ان يفرقوا بين الله ورسله ويقولون نومن ببعض ونكفر ببعض ويريدون ان يتخذوا بين ذلك سبيلا

٤_١٥٢     والذين ءامنوا بالله ورسله ولم يفرقوا بين احد منهم اوليك سوف يوتيهم اجورهم وكان الله غفورا رحيما

٤_١٧١      ياهل الكتب لا تغلوا في دينكم ولا تقولوا علي الله الا الحق انما المسيح عيسي ابن مريم رسول الله وكلمته القيها الي مريم وروح منه فامنوا بالله ورسله ولا تقولوا ثلثه انتهوا خيرا لكم انما الله اله وحد سبحنه ان يكون له ولد له ما في السموت وما في الارض وكفي بالله وكيلا

٧_١٠١        تلك القري نقص عليك من انبايها ولقد جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينت فما كانوا ليومنوا بما كذبوا من قبل كذلك يطبع الله علي قلوب الكفرين

٩_٧٠        الم ياتهم نبا الذين من قبلهم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود وقوم ابرهيم واصحب مدين والموتفكت اتتهم رسلهم بالبينت فما كان الله ليظلمهم ولكن كانوا انفسهم يظلمون

١٠_١٣        ولقد اهلكنا القرون من قبلكم لما ظلموا وجاءتهم رسلهم بالبينت وما كانوا ليومنوا كذلك نجزي القوم المجرمين

١١_٥٩       وتلك عاد جحدوا بايت ربهم وعصوا رسله واتبعوا امر كل جبار عنيد

١٤_٩         الم ياتكم نبوا الذين من قبلكم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود والذين من بعدهم لا يعلمهم الا الله جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينت فردوا ايديهم في افوههم وقالوا انا كفرنا بما ارسلتم به وانا لفي شك مما تدعوننا اليه مريب

١٤_١٠         قالت رسلهم افي الله شك فاطر السموت والارض يدعوكم ليغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويوخركم الي اجل مسمي قالوا ان انتم الا بشر مثلنا تريدون ان تصدونا عما كان يعبد ءاباونا فاتونا بسلطن مبين

١٤_١١         قالت لهم رسلهم ان نحن الا بشر مثلكم ولكن الله يمن علي من يشاء من عباده وما كان لنا ان ناتيكم بسلطن الا باذن الله وعلي الله فليتوكل المومنون

١٤_١٣      وقال الذين كفروا لرسلهم لنخرجنكم من ارضنا او لتعودن في ملتنا فاوحي اليهم ربهم لنهلكن الظلمين

١٤_٤٧    فلا تحسبن الله مخلف وعده رسله ان الله عزيز ذو انتقام

٢٨_٣٤        واخي هرون هو افصح مني لسانا فارسله معي ردءا يصدقني اني اخاف ان يكذبون

٣٠_٩        اولم يسيروا في الارض فينظروا كيف كان عقبه الذين من قبلهم كانوا اشد منهم قوه واثاروا الارض وعمروها اكثر مما عمروها وجاءتهم رسلهم بالبينت فما كان الله ليظلمهم ولكن كانوا انفسهم يظلمون

٣٥_٢٥         وان يكذبوك فقد كذب الذين من قبلهم جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينت وبالزبر وبالكتب المنير

٤٠_٢٢     ذلك بانهم كانت تاتيهم رسلهم بالبينت فكفروا فاخذهم الله انه قوي شديد العقاب

٤٠_٨٣   فلما جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينت فرحوا بما عندهم من العلم وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزءون

٥٧_١٩    والذين ءامنوا بالله ورسله اوليك هم الصديقون والشهداء عند ربهم لهم اجرهم ونورهم والذين كفروا وكذبوا بايتنا اوليك اصحب الجحيم

٥٧_٢١    سابقوا الي مغفره من ربكم وجنه عرضها كعرض السماء والارض اعدت للذين ءامنوا بالله ورسله ذلك فضل الله يوتيه من يشاء والله ذو الفضل العظيم

٥٧_٢٥         لقد ارسلنا رسلنا بالبينت وانزلنا معهم الكتب والميزان ليقوم الناس بالقسط وانزلنا الحديد فيه باس شديد ومنفع للناس وليعلم الله من ينصره ورسله بالغيب ان الله قوي عزيز

٥٩_٦       وما افاء الله علي رسوله منهم فما اوجفتم عليه من خيل ولا ركاب ولكن الله يسلط رسله علي من يشاء والله علي كل شيء قدير

٦٤_٦       ذلك بانه كانت تاتيهم رسلهم بالبينت فقالوا ابشر يهدوننا فكفروا وتولوا واستغني الله والله غني حميد

٦٥_٨      وكاين من قريه عتت عن امر ربها ورسله فحاسبنها حسابا شديدا وعذبنها عذابا نكرا

 

002:098 Who is an enemy to Allah, and His angels and His messengers, and Gabriel and Michael! Then, lo! Allah (Himself) is an enemy to the disbelievers.

002:285 The messenger believeth in that which hath been revealed unto him from his Lord and (so do) believers. Each one believeth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers - We make no distinction between any of His messengers - and they say: We hear, and we obey. (Grant us) Thy forgiveness, our Lord. Unto Thee is the journeying.

003:179 It is not (the purpose) of Allah to leave you in your present state till He shall separate the wicked from the good. And it is not (the purpose of) Allah to let you know the Unseen. But Allah chooseth of His messengers whom He will, (to receive knowledge thereof). So believe in Allah and His messengers. If ye believe and ward off (evil), yours will be a vast reward.

004:136 O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His messenger and the Scripture which He hath revealed unto His messenger, and the Scripture which He revealed aforetime. Whoso disbelieveth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers and the Last Day, he verily hath wandered far astray.

004:150 Lo! those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers, and seek to make distinction between Allah and His messengers, and say: We believe in some and disbelieve in others, and seek to choose a way in between;

004:152 But those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of them, unto them Allah will give their wages; and Allah was ever Forgiving, Merciful.

004:171 O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not "Three" - Cease! (it is) better for you! - Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.

007:101 Such were the townships. We relate some tidings of them unto thee (Muhammad). Their messengers verily came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they could not believe because they had before denied. Thus doth Allah print upon the hearts of disbelievers (that they hear not).

009:070 Hath not the fame of those before them reached them - the folk of Noah, A'ad, Thamud, the folk of Abraham, the dwellers of Midian and the disasters (which befell them)? Their messengers (from Allah) came unto them with proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). So Allah surely wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves.

010:013 We destroyed the generations before you when they did wrong; and their messengers (from Allah) came unto them with clear proofs (of His Sovereignty) but they would not believe. Thus do We reward the guilty folk.

011:059 And such were A'ad. They denied the revelations of their Lord and flouted His messengers and followed the command of every froward potentate.

014:009 Hath not the history of those before you reached you: the folk of Noah, and (the tribes of) A'ad and Thamud, and those after them? None save Allah knoweth them. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs, but they thrust their hands into their mouths, and said: Lo! we disbelieve in that wherewith ye have been sent, and lo! we are in grave doubt concerning that to which ye call us.

014:010 Their messengers said: Can there be doubt concerning Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth? He calleth you that He may forgive you your sins and reprieve you unto an appointed term. They said: Ye are but mortals like us, who would fain turn us away from what our fathers used to worship. Then bring some clear warrant.

014:011 Their messengers said unto them: We are but mortals like you, but Allah giveth grace unto whom He will of His slaves. It is not ours to bring you a warrant unless by the permission of Allah. In Allah let believers put their trust!

014:013 And those who disbelieved said unto their messengers: Verily we will drive you out from our land, unless ye return to our religion. Then their Lord inspired them, (saying): Verily we shall destroy the wrong-doers,

014:047 So think not that Allah will fail to keep His promise to His messengers. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Able to Requite (the wrong).

028:034 My brother Aaron is more eloquent than me in speech. Therefor send him with me as a helper to confirm me. Lo! I fear that they will give the lie to me.

030:009 Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? They were stronger than these in power, and they dug the earth and built upon it more than these have built. Messengers of their own came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). Surely Allah wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves.

035:025 And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light.

040:022 That was because their messengers kept bringing them clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) but they disbelieved; so Allah seized them. Lo! He is Strong, severe in punishment.

040:083 And when their messengers brought them clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) they exulted in the knowledge they (themselves) possessed. And that which they were wont to mock befell them.

057:019 And those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal, and the martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light; while as for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell-fire.

057:021 Race one with another for forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whereof the breadth is as the breadth of the heavens and the earth, which is in store for those who believe in Allah and His messengers. Such is the bounty of Allah, which He bestoweth upon whom He will, and Allah is of Infinite Bounty.

057:025 We verily sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and revealed with them the Scripture and the Balance, that mankind may observe right measure; and He revealed iron, wherein is mighty power and (many) uses for mankind, and that Allah may know him who helpeth Him and His messengers, though unseen. Lo! Allah is Strong, Almighty.

059:006 And that which Allah gave as spoil unto His messenger from them, ye urged not any horse or riding-camel for the sake thereof, but Allah giveth His messenger lordship over whom He will. Allah is Able to do all things.

064:006 That was because their messengers (from Allah) kept coming unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they said: Shall mere mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and turned away, and Allah was independent (of them). Allah is Absolute, Owner of Praise.

065:008 And how many a community revolted against the ordinance of its Lord and His messengers, and We called it to a stern account and punished it with dire punishment,

 

 

Appendix C

Here Allah shows clearly that “Nabi”s were indeed sent (meaning they are “Rasool”s) to their people and they got kills (to become martyrs to come and support Imam Al-Mehdi (as):

٢_٩١         واذا قيل لهم ءامنوا بما انزل الله قالوا نومن بما انزل علينا ويكفرون بما وراءه وهو الحق مصدقا لما معهم قل فلم تقتلون انبياء الله من قبل ان كنتم مومنين

٣_١١٢      ضربت عليهم الذله اين ما ثقفوا الا بحبل من الله وحبل من الناس وباءو بغضب من الله وضربت عليهم المسكنه ذلك بانهم كانوا يكفرون بايت الله ويقتلون الانبياء بغير حق ذلك بما عصوا وكانوا يعتدون

٣_١٨١     لقد سمع الله قول الذين قالوا ان الله فقير ونحن اغنياء سنكتب ما قالوا وقتلهم الانبياء بغير حق ونقول ذوقوا عذاب الحريق

٤_١٥٥     فبما نقضهم ميثقهم وكفرهم بايت الله وقتلهم الانبياء بغير حق وقولهم قلوبنا غلف بل طبع الله عليها بكفرهم فلا يومنون الا قليلا

٥_٢٠         واذ قال موسي لقومه يقوم اذكروا نعمه الله عليكم اذ جعل فيكم انبياء وجعلكم ملوكا وءاتيكم ما لم يوت احدا من العلمين

002:091 And when it is said unto them: Believe in that which Allah hath revealed, they say: We believe in that which was revealed unto us. And they disbelieve in that which cometh after it, though it is the truth confirming that which they possess. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Why then slew ye the prophets of Allah aforetime, if ye are (indeed) believers?

003:112 Ignominy shall be their portion wheresoever they are found save (where they grasp) a rope from Allah and a rope from men. They have incurred anger from their Lord, and wretchedness is laid upon them. That is because they used to disbelieve the revelations of Allah, and slew the prophets wrongfully. That is because they were rebellious and used to transgress.

003:181 Verily Allah heard the saying of those who said, (when asked for contributions to the war): "Allah, forsooth, is poor, and we are rich!" We shall record their saying with their slaying of the prophets wrongfully and We shall say: Taste ye the punishment of burning!

004:155 Then because of their breaking of their covenant, and their disbelieving in the revelations of Allah, and their slaying of the prophets wrongfully, and their saying: Our hearts are hardened - Nay, but Allah set a seal upon them for their disbelief, so that they believe not save a few -

005:020 And (remember) when Moses said unto his people: O my people! Remember Allah's favour unto you, how He placed among you prophets, and He made you kings, and gave you that (which) He gave not to any (other) of (His) creatures.
